The Second Street Advancement Program is an entry-level, salaried position with benefits. The program begins with an orientation period in the Customer Support & Affiliate Success departments, where you learn about our products by supporting our customers. You then complete a rotation between several of the departments listed below. At the end of the program, you are eligible for available openings in any of these departments.

Our products connect newspapers, magazines, and radio and TV stations with millions of customers through photo contests, sports pick'ems, Facebook sweepstakes, deals, Best Of ballots, and more. 

Second Street Departments

Affiliate Success: Work with Second Street’s media partners over the phone and by email to provide guidance on how they can best use our products to achieve their goals. Train new partners, provide top-notch one-on-one support, and help develop calendars and strategies for current partners.

Creative Services: Work with both internal departments and Second Street partners on design and development projects related to our software.

Development & Systems*: Transform the product team’s visions into working software. Manage servers and systems to ensure our products are performing as they should be. *A rotation in these departments requires a background in computer programming.

Marketing: Write and develop content to engage potential and current partners on the Second Street Promotions Lab, social media, and in email communications. Work closely with the sales team to build relationships with potential partners.

Product & Quality Assurance: Envision and design new features and products that balance the wants and needs of the company with the time and expertise of the developers.

Sales: Cultivate relationships with prospective partners and demonstrate the value of Second Street’s products through individual demos and at industry conferences.
